How to Care for Your Wool Sauna Mat
For the best thermal protection, keep your mat dry before entering the sauna. After your session, simply hang the mat by the loop to air dry thoroughly.

General Care: Thanks to the wool’s natural antibacterial properties, this mat resists odors and rarely needs washing. Simply hang it to air dry thoroughly away from direct heat after each use.
Washing Instructions (If needed):
- Hand wash only in cold or lukewarm water using a gentle wool-specific detergent.
- To dry, gently press excess water out by sandwiching the mat between a clean towel.
- Reshape the mat while it is still damp and lay flat to air dry, away from direct sunlight.
- Do not tumble dry.
- Crucial: Do not wring, twist, or aggressively squeeze the mat. This will damage the felted structure and permanently ruin its shape.

I would recommend this sauna hat, when I discovered there was such a thing, I thought No way this would work.
So i took a chance and purchased it, and yes it does work, I felt that my head was not getting overheated. It is a bigger fitting hat, but it can be rolled up if you don't like it to cover your face. So yes it is a great investment to protect you brain from overheating.

It works! I was a tad sceptical, but tried it out in the sauna and it made a world of difference. Normally only last a few minutes before feeling woozy, but with the hat on that feeling went away. Great quality too.
